40-year old electrocuted

Basirhat, Nov 4 (UNI) A 40-year-old man was electrocuted at Sahapur under Hingalgunj Police station in North 24 Parganas today.

Police said the victim was cutting branches of a tree near his house when he came in contact with a live high tension wire.

After he fell down neighbours took him to the local hospital where he was declared dead.

His body was sent for post mortem.

Incidentally, two children were electrocuted at Rajarhat area in the district yesterday.
