Sahu case pending before BJP: Karuna

Raipur, Nov 3 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party Vice-President Karuna Shukla today said the case of BJP MP Tarachand Sahu, who openly raised the 'locals versus outsiders' issue in Chhattisgarh, was pending before the party.

''The High Command is in possession of a compact disc of Mr Sahu's statements besides copies of newspaper reports. The BJP has taken very serious note of the matter but has not been able to dwell over the issue as Assembly elections are underway in six states,'' she told journalists here when asked about Durg MP Sahu raising the issue on the lines of similar moves in Maharashtra.

Pointing out that Mr Sahu was a senior parliamentarian, Ms Shukla added that he should desist from any act that might cause a loss to the BJP.
