One injured, 5 shops damaged in fire at two places in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Nov 3 (UNI) One person sustained minor burn injuries and five shops were damaged when fires broke out in two different parts of the city today.

A major fire broke out at Rinku Process Pvt Ltd at Shahvadi in Narol area of the city at about 1035 hrs. A man received minor injuries.

According to fire brigade sources, the fire broke out because of short circuit. Further investigations were on.

In another fire incident, five shops in Revadi Bazaar of Kalupur area of the city caught fire at about 1000 hrs. The blaze was brought under control within three hours.

However, no casualty was reported in this accident.

Fire brigade sources said the exact cause of the fire has not been ascertained yet but in this case too, a short circuit is not ruled out, they added.
