Groundnut, oil steady; RBD palm oil rises

Mumbai, Nov 3 (UNI) Prices of groundnut and oil remained steady today on scattered buying by stockists, while RBD palm oil rose on fresh demand, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oilseeds, Kardiseed increased by Rs 40 per quintal on good demand by bulk consumers, whereas Javas 80/90 fell by Rs 150 per quintal on low buying support by stockists, traders said.

In oils (per 10 kg), RBD palm oil and cottonseed refined shot up by Rs seven and Rs five per 10 kg respectively, on better buying support by stockists.

Kardi expeller and sunflower exp declined by Rs 10 per ten kg each on poor offtake.

In de-oiled cakes, undec cottonseed further shot up by Rs 300 per metric tonne on lesser stock supply by stockists, traders added.
