Election results an approval of BJP's 150-day rule: CM

Bangalore, Nov 3 (UNI) The clean sweep made by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislative council polls was approved by the people of the 150-day rule of his government in Karnataka, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa claimed today.

Reacting to his party's victory here, he said despite the Opposition parties joining together, the BJP candidates won in a big way.

His government would ensure that local bodies and panchayat institutions were strengthened, he added.

Taking a dig at Opposition Congress and Janata Dal(S), he said it was time they should stop leveling false allegations against the BJP government.

They should start extending cooperation to the BJP government to ensure good governance, he added.
