Bhuria defects from Cong to rejoin BJP
New Delhi, Nov 3 (UNI) Former Member of Parliament and firebrand tribal leader Dilip Singh Bhuria today left the Congress to rejoin the BJP.
Mr Bhuria's return to the party was significant as his coming back home was being strongly opposed by a section within BJP for quite some time.
He was given a membership of the party in the presence of BJP President Rajnath Singh and senior party leader Lal Krishna Advani.
His daughter Nirmala has been made the party's nominee for the Matelavad Assembly constituency in Jabhua district of Madhya Pradesh. Mr Bhuria's return to the party will help him campaign for his daughter.
