American Center opens watch centre for US Presidential polls

Kolkata, Nov 3 (UNI) American Center will set up an ''Election Watch'' centre to facilitate watching the US Presidential elections while being in the city.

For the November 4 battle royale, the watch centre will be at Galaxy, Park Hotel's annex from 0530 hrs on November 5 (due to the time difference between India and the US), until 1300 hrs.

Before the final results are declared, election enthusiasts will be able to see continuous CNN election updates, screenings of the Presidential debates, casting of mock votes and election update remarks by Consul General Beth Payne.

For media people, there will be opportunities for press interactions with the US officials and the Consulate, an American Center release said today.
