20 criminals arrested during special drive

Sambalpur, Nov 3 (UNI) Twenty criminals, including a hardcore one, wanted in 12 criminal cases of grievious nature, were arrested during raids in the last three days.

DIG Y B Khurania today said one Kalyan alias Bubu Bahidar was arrested in connection with his invlovement in 12 criminal cases, including his alleged involvement in the attack on Dr Prasant Kumar Sahu of VSS Medical College at Burla last year.

Mr Khurania said the criminals were arrested by the police from Sambalpur during a special drive conducted to put behind bars those against whom arrest warrants were pending for long.
