Youth held with counterfeit currency notes
Shahdol, MP, Nov 2 (UNI) A youth, resident of Uttar Pradesh's Manikpur town, was arrested with 13 counterfeit currency notes of denomination of Rs 100 in Goinda town of Madhya Pradesh's Anuppur district, police said today.
On a tip-off, police raided the house of coal mine worker Johanlal and found the fake currency notes from his son-in-law Kamlesh during the search.
Kamlesh was held and was jailed by the court yesterday.
Meanwhile, he divulged that he got the counterfeit notes from Manikpur-based Anilkumar Kacher and Bahor Kevat. A case was registered against the duo, police added.
