Woman, infant die in wall collapse in TN
Chennai, Nov 2 (UNI) A woman and her eight-month-old infant died in a wall collapse at Perumpattu village coming under Thirunavalur police station limits in Villuppuram district of Tamil Nadu today.
Reports received at the police headquarters here said the victims Valli (23) and her child Rajeswari were sleeping in the house when a portion of the wall collapsed and fell on them.
Both of them were trapped under the debris and died on the spot.
Valli's relative Anusuya (17), who was sleeping along with them, sustained injuries and admitted to the Puducherry Government Hospital.
