Two women nabbed while selling another woman in Punjab
Fatehgarh Sahib, Nov 2 (UNI) The police nabbed two middle aged women while they were selling another woman to a cilent at Mandi Gobindgarh in the district today.
According to sources sources, the deal was fixed for a mere Rs 20,000. The two accused were to share Rs 5000 each while the remaining Rs 10,000 was the share of the woman that was to be sold.
The police nabbed both the accused when they were about to hand over the hapless Ludhiana based woman to a customer. The two were identified as Harjit Kaur, resident of Hariou Khurd near Patran of district Patiala and Charanjit Kaur of Tripari also of Patiala.
They were booked under sections 371, 370, 374, 34 of the IPC.
The accused were presented before a magistrate and were remanded in judicial custody till November 15.
