Two killed and one washed away in mishap in HP
Chamba, Nov 2 (UNI) Two state employees of the Irrigation and Public Health (IPH) department were killed and one was washed away when the jeep in which they were travelling fell into the Ravi river at Kharamukha on Chamba-Bharmour Road last night, police said here today.
According to the police the jeep of IPH department fell into the river after the driver lost control. While Shanti Parkash, SDO and Karnail Singh, the driver died in the mishap, Dhatru Ram, a chowkidar in the department got washed away in the ravi river.
The adminstration has released Rs 10,000 each as immediate relief to the relatives of the killed.
