Guj Industrialist's house robbed of Rs 25.50 lakh

Rajkot, Nov 2 (UNI) Cash and valuables worth Rs 25.50 lakh were stolen from an Industrialist's house in Vrindavan society near Kalavad Road area here.

According to police, Saileshbhai Makadiya, who owns the Radhe Renewable Energy Development Private limited firm at Metoda, and his family discovered the theft only yesterday, after they returned from their Diwali tour.

Mr Makadiya and police suspect the watchman Dipendra, who is now at large, behind the loot, including Rs 22 lakh cash and gold ornaments worth about Rs 3.5 lakh, from the four-storey bungalow.

Police have launched a manhunt for Dipendra, who had been living in a room next to the bungalow for the last one year.
