BJP workers protest against Yadav's candidature
Rajgarh, MP, Nov 2 (UNI) Irked over giving a ticket to Bharatiya Janata Party former minister and MLA Badrilal Yadav, party workers staged a protest against him for the third consecutive day in this district's Bioara town, official sources said today.
Rallies were staged at prominent places of the town, slogans were shouted against Mr Yadav and he was also burnt down in effigy.
Allegedly, the protest was staged by the supporters of former legislator D M Jagtap. Most of the shops and commercial hubs in Bioara remained closed yesterday.
Mr Haricharan Tiwari was made a candidate from Rajgarh legislative constituency in the second list of BJP. Anticipating his candidature, tens of hundreds of party workers staged an agitation at BJP office in state capital last week.
