2 killed, 2 injured in hit-and-run case in Mumbai
Mumbai, Nov 2 (UNI) At least two people were killed and two others injured in a hit-and-run case at Borivali in north Mumbai today.
According to an eyewitness, the driver of a car lost control over the vehicle and climbed onto the road divider, where the victims were waiting to cross the road, at around 0645 hrs on new Link Road at Ganpat Patil Nagar.
The deceased were identified as Prem Shankar (35) and Sanjeev Kapur (25), while condition of the injured, who were admitted to the government-run Bhagwati Hospital, was stated to be critical, police said.
The driver, identified as Prem Bhatt (28), was arrested and remanded by a local court to judicial custody till November 4 .
