UP Congress stir against Raj Thackeray on Nov 5
Lucknow, Nov 1 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh unit of Congress today announced to observe November 5 as 'protest day' over the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) harangue against north Indians.
According to a party release, State Congress president Rita Bahuguna Joshi has written a letter to all the district and city committees in the regard.
On November 5, the Congress would pay tributes to the victims of the violence and seek the arrest of the MNS leader under the National Security Act.
The provocative statements of Mr Thackeray has created an unease in the country, it added.
