SFM faces the brunt of playing hindi songs

Mysore, Nov 1: The Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (Ka Ra Ve) on Saturday, Nov 1 morning attacked Mysore Radio station, SFM for playing Hindi songs on Kannada Rajyotsava. The Vedike hve ransacked the office and attacked even women in the office. "It is a proud moment for all Kannadigas as Kannada has recieved classical status. On such an auspicious moment, hindi songs are being played and embarassing all the Kanndigas," said activists of the Vedike.

The attack was led by the President of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike of Mysore, Mohan Kumar. The indication of the attack was hinted to the Police before the attack. Even if there were police officials around, they couldnot have protected the people from the activists in the station.
