Minister escapes unhurt in lorry accident
Tirupati, Nov 1 (UNI) State Minister for law R Chengareddy escaped unhurt in a major accident when his car was hit by a speedy lorry at Vadamalpeta near here tonight.
Police here said the incident occurred when the Minister, proceeding to Tirupati for night stay from Nagari in his vehicle, was hit at the backside by a coal-loaded lorry. However, no one was injured in the accident.
Meanwhile, the lorry driver who was in a drunken state, was arrested, police added.
