ENIL posts 15 pc rise in total income
Mumbai, Nov 1 (UNI) Entertainment Network India Limited (ENIL), India's leading private FM Radio operator, popularly known as Radio Mirchi, has posted a 15 per cent increase in its total income at Rs 61.6 crore for the second quarter ended September 30 of the current fiscal, as against the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
The Company's Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) stood at Rs 8.5 crores, up by 3.2 per cent as against the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
During the quarter, the Company reported a net loss of Rs 3.3 crores due to amortization of license fee and depreciation charges on equipments in 22 new stations.
On a consolidated basis (including OOH media and Event Management Business), the Company reported total income of Rs 109.9 crores, a growth of 27.3 per cent, compared to the quarter ended September 30, 2007, a release said here today.
