Couple and two others booked for fraud

Fatehgarh Sahib, Nov 1 (UNI) A couple and two others have been booked for allegedly committing a fraud with a woman.

On the statement of the woman Satvir Singh, a resident of village Pola near Mulepur, the police have registered a case against village Pola residents Jaspal Singh, his wife Swaranjit Kaur, Avtar Singh and village Nambhardar Jaswant Singh under sections 406, 420 of the IPC.

Satvir Kaur alleged that the accused cheated her on the pretext of providing her loan and instead of providing the loan, they tried to grab her land by preparing a sale deed of her 8 Kanal 2 Marla land without giving her any cash.
