CD on working of human body released

Chennai, Nov 1 (UNI) In a first of its kind initiative, a private firm has come out with, what it claimed, an unique CD on the functioning of the human body.

Titled ''Miracle of the Human Body,'' the first part of the CD, aimed at educating people of all age groups and the student community, was launched by Dr S Mullasri Ajit, Cardiology Head, Madras Medical Misson, in the presence of Dr M Anandakrishnan and Jupiter Graphics Founder K R Ananthanarayanan.

The CD contains full screen animation and voice-over which unravels the mystery hidden in the functioning of the human body.

''Though we are farily conversant with many man-made gadgets like Telephone, TV, Camera, Computers, Laptops and Mobile Phones, it is unfortunate that many of us do not have a proper insight of our body system and how the various organs function,'' Mr Ananthanarayanan said.

''Without a proper understanding of this complex creation of God, we often tend to abuse our system, leading to various ailments, diseases and serious complications, which can easily be avoided,'' he added.
