2.5 kg brown sugar seized
Hazaribagh, Nov 1 (UNI) Police have seized 2.5 kg of brown sugar worth about Rs one crore in the international market and arrested three people in this connection at Ghaghari village in this district.
Police today said acting on a tip-off security forces last night chased a van coming from Barkakatta and stopped it near the village from which the contraband was recovered.
Three accused - Harishchandra Mahto, Chinku Singh and Mithilesh Prasad Singh - were being interrogated.
