Sankalap Divas observed at Punjab Congress Bhawan

Chandigarh, Oct 31 (UNI) Floral tributes were paid to late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her 24th death anniversary observed as 'Sankalp Divas' at the Punjab Congress Bhawan here today.

Several congress leaders, including party General Secretary Raj Pal Singh, offered floral tributes at the portrait of Mrs Gandhi. The Congressmen present on the occasion took pledge to make all sacrifices to safeguard the unity and integrity of the country for which Mrs Gandhi made supreme sacrifice.

A state-level function to mark this occasion was held at Bathinda which was presided by Pradesh Congress President Mohinder Singh Kay Pee.
