Mobile Phone Jammers will be installed in all the Jails in Karnataka
Mysore, Oct 31(UNI) Mobile phone Jammers will be installed on all Jail premises in Karnataka in the next six months, Additional Director General of Police and Director General of Police Dharmpla Negi said today.
Talking to newspersons after taking the salute at a passing out parade of 36th batch of the trainee wardens at the Prison Staff College here, he said new jails would be constructed at Udupi, Mangalore, Madikeri, Haveri and Chikamagalur as the Jails in the state were overcrowded.
Referring to clashes among inmates in jails, he said necessary steps would be taken to curb such incidents in future.
