BJYM blames Congress for Assam blasts

Shillong, Oct 31 (UNI) The Meghalaya BJP's youth wing Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) today blamed the Congress-led government for yesterday's serial blasts in Assam.

''The serials blasts, which rocked Guwahati and other parts of Assam, indicate direct or indirect involvement of Bangladesh-based militants groups, but the Union Ministers and Assam government are still shy of admitting the truth, '' BJYM president Hubert Marbaniang said.

Alleging that the Congress had surrendered to the Bangladeshi militants, Mr Marbaniang said the Assam government should have taken strong actions against those Bangladeshi infiltrators, who hoisted the Pakistani flag in Assam.
