Badal inaugurates multi-storeyed Punjab Bhawan at Nanded
Chandigarh, Oct 31 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has inaugurated the newly built multi-storeyed complex of Punjab Bhawan at Nanded in Maharashtra on the occasion of the Guruta Gaddi celebrations, a spokesperson of the Punjab government today said.
At the inauguration ceremony yesterday prayers were offered by Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib Jathedar, Giani Kulwant Singh.
The entire cost of construction of the Rs 8 crore Bhawan has been borne by the Punjab government. The land was provided by the Sri Hazur Sahib Gurdwara Board.
The Bhawan with occupancy of 142 rooms would provide boarding and lodging facility to the devotees visiting the holy shrine of Takht Sri Hazur Sahib, the spokesman here stated.
