31 members of marriage party injured in road mishap in HP

Shimla, Oct. 31 (UNI) Thirty one members of a marriage party were injured when the bus carrying them rammed into a roadside boulder at Racholi near Rampur in the district this morning, police here said.

The accident took place due to break failure. The driver was left with no option but to ram the private bus into a roadside rock to prevent the vehicle from rolling down into a gorge.

There were in all 45 members in the marriage party. A few of the passengers sustained injuries after they jumped out of the moving bus on learning of the break failure.

The injured were admitted to the regional hospital at Rampur. The bus which was hired was carrying the marriage party from Marog to Dhoi village.
