30 baratis injured in Jammu bus accident

Jammu, Oct 31 (UNI) At least 31 baratis were wounded when their bus met with an accident in tehsil Akhnoor, about 25 km from here, police sources said today.

''A bus carrying baratis was on its way from Khour to Gurah Talab. It rolled down when the driver lost control while negotiating a sharp turn and fell into a 10-feet deep gorge last night,'' police said.

The injured were shifted to Sub-district Hospital, Akhnoor, while 12 of them critically injured were referred to the SMGS Hospital, Jammu.
