10 killed in road accident in northeast Bangladesh

Dhaka, Oct 31 (UNI) Ten people were killed and two others injured when a fertilizer-laden truck in which they were travelling fell into a roadside ditch in northeastern Tangail district, about 100 km from here, early today.

Police said the driver lost control of the truck in the foggy morning and it slipped into the ditch. All the 10 people died on the spot. The driver fled the scene after the accident.
