Madurai: PIL filed for mentally challenged

Madurai, Oct 30: A plea to educate and employ mentally chalenged was moved in the Madras High Court. PIL seeking Central and State governments to formulate a comprehensive scheme was filed.

All India Human Rights Organisation, a non-governmental organisation based in Virudhunagar district, has filed the case, charging both the governments with having failed to provide sufficient facilities for their rehabilitation. However, the Bench passed the case as it required more information about the same.
