HRD, UGC propose uniformity for university degrees: NAAC

Puducherry, Oct 30(UNI) The Chairman of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council(NAAC) H A Ranganath today said the Human Resource Development(HRD) Ministry and University Grants Commission(UGC) were planning to bring degrees awarded by several universities in the country, including state universities and deemed universities under a uniform pattern.

Interacting with PhD Scholars at the Academic Staff College(ASC) during the inauguration of their 21-day training programme here, Prof Ranganath said the research scholars were backbone of the universities and future eduacationists.
