Europe's leading kitchen maker enters Indian market

Chennai, Oct 30 (UNI) ''EWE'', Europe's leading kitchen maker and member of the Nobia Group, world leader in modular kitchen, today announced its foray into the Indian market through an exclusive distribution arrangement with Orchid Designs.

Speaking to media, Orchid Designs CEO K Chandrasekaran said Indian Consumers have been spending a lot on their Kitchens and bathrooms than ever before.

''The market has matured from the carpenter-made self designed kitchens to designer kitchens. Our preliminary survey indicates that at least 50 per cent of premium homes will opt for high end products like ewe'', he added ''EWE'' ushers in a new era of elegant, premium modular kitchens and would cater to the premium segment of the market. The Kitchens were available in a ready-to-install pre-assembled modular format to fit easily in the existing kitchen spaces.

The Kitchens were priced between Rs six lakhs to Rs 40 lakhs with the top end of the range being the electrically operated lacquered kitchens.
