A new cell to combat militant activities in Kerala
Kerala, Oct 30, 2008: State government of Kerala constituted a special cell on Wednesday. This cell will combat the growing militant activities and militant recruitments in the state. The decision came after the confirmation of killing of four militants hailing from Kerala in Jammu and Kashmir earlier this month. The local police and security agencies have stepped up their investigations to ascertain the details of the networks recruiting youth for militant outfits.
