MP: 2 youths killed in road accident in Satna
Satna, MP, Oct 30: Two youth were killed when their motorcycle was dashed by a truck on Satna-Amarapatan-Maihar junction 35 km from here this morning, police said.
Santosh Patel (28) died on the spot, while his friend Suresh Patel (32) succumbed to his injuries in the district hospital at 0800 hrs.
The duo hailed from Nadan village.
Holding encroachment at either side of the road responsible for the mishap, the local people staged a blockade on the road demanding the removal of the encroachment for free flow of traffic.
Normalcy was restored when police intervened.
