Two nomination papers filed in Bilaspur district

Bilaspur, CG, Oct 29 (UNI) Two nomination papers were filed today from two Assembly seats in Bilaspur district for the second phase of Assembly polls in Chhattisgarh.

BSP leader and former legislator Rameshwar Khare today filed his nomination from Masturi seat while Gondwana Ganatantra Party leader Anjor Das Banjare filed his nomination from Mungeli.

Both Assembly seats are reserved for schedule caste.

There are nine Assembly seats in this district. These include Bilaspur, Bilha, Kota, Takhatpur (all general), Masturi, Mungeli (both SC) and Marwahi (ST) seats.

The second phase of polling for 51 seats in Chhattisgarh will take place on November 20 for which notification was issued on October 27.

November 3 is last date for filing nomination while scrutiny would be held on November 4. November 6 is last date for withdrawal of names.
