Terror links: SIT raids house of Shafas
Kannur, Oct 29: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) raided the house of 24-year-old Shafas, brother-in-law of Nazeer, at Thayyil, for alleged terror links.
According to police, Nazeer, who was absconding from here for the last few months, was one of the members of the newly-formed Thariqath Majlis organisation.
P Abdul Jaleel and C Muhammed Faisal, who were recently arrested for alleged terror links with militants in Kashmir, had told the police that Nazeer, figuring in the Coimbatore blast case, was the prime recruiting agent from Kannur.
