Swarajya Foundation sets up knowledge bank in Warnanagar

Kolhapur, Oct 29 (UNI) Swarajya Foundation, an NGO set up by Warna Group at Warnanagar in this district, has set up a knowledge bank, 'Vilasrao Kore Knowledge Bank', for the benefit of society.

Any person having knowledge about any subject that can prove beneficial for society can join this bank as a depositor, said Foundation chief N K Patil.

Talking to UNI today, Mr Patil said ''The knowledge is real truth but people shy away from sharing it. As a result, it has become a monopoly of a particular section. However, there are some intellligent people but they have no platform to prove it.'' Observing this, the Foudation, running under the able guidance of Warna Group chief Vinay Kore, set up this bank, he said.

Knowledge generalization and simplification is the need of the hour, Mr Patil said and pointed out that they will obtain knowledge regarding every field be it education, science, technology, agriculture, health, managerment, arts and sports.

He said before the willing enthusiasts can part with their knowledge, the Foundation will screen them.

The knowledge thus accumulated will be provided to needy persons or organisations without any charges, he added.
