Special Howrah Mail to be cancelled

Nanded, Oct 29 (UNI) The special Kolkata-bound Howrah Mail will be cancelled from tomorrow due to lack of passengers.

According to Nanded railway station manager, Shriniwas Surywanshi, the special train which was started on October 3, on the occasion of Guru-da-Gaddi celebration, has been cancelled from October 30.

But there was a sharp increase in the number of passengers arriving for the Guru-da-Gaddi celebrations by 80 per cent from October 26 in different trains, Mr Surywanshi added.

There is 60 per cent hike in the passengers in the Marathwada Express and Amritsar Sachkhand express and those arriving from Jaipur and Ahmedabad, the sources added.
