Robin Uthappa to lead Karnataka Ranji Team

Bangalore, Oct 29 (UNI) Indian Cricket Test Captain Anil Kumble and former skipper Rahul Dravid do not figure in the 15-member squad for Karnataka Ranji Team which plays in Elite Group 'B' in this year's season beginning on November 3.

Earlier the two stalwarts were included in the 32 member probable's list. Now the Karnataka team will be led by one-day expert Robin Uthappa.

The Karnataka team, which was demoted to Elite Group 'B' in the last season, would play their inaugural match of the season against Railways Sports Promotion Board from November 3 to 6 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium here.

Following is the squad: Robin Uthappa (Capt), K B Pawan, C Raghu, Bharath Chipli Ganesh Satish, V S Thilak Naidu, Manish Pandey, Sunil B Joshi, R Vinay Kumar, N C Aiyappa, Sunil N Raju, S Aravind, Deepak A Chougule, Vinu P Narayanan, C M Gautam.
