London, October 29 : Prince Harry, who is attempting to qualify for training as an Apache pilot in the British Army, has been zealously practicing his flying skills - on a computer game.
The 24-year-old, who is aspiring to ride the Army's meanest and toughest attack helicopter, has been addicted to an Apache game he found on the Sun's website, according to reports.
The game, which requires players to gun Taliban fighters with Hellfire missiles, rockets and 30mm cannon fire, is said to have hit the right button with the soldier prince, who has been devoting hours trying to practice his air skills.
"He loved the game on the Sun website and played it for some time. He was actually quite good at it too," the Sun quoted a royal source as saying.
"Harry is devouring anything to do with the helicopter at the moment as he's incredibly keen to impress senior officers and give qualification for service on it his very best shot."
The young royal, who served 77 days during the war torn Afghanistan, will have to compete with the Army Air Corps' 800 pilots to be among the short listed 24.
