Madurai: Only 144 online rail bookings
Madurai, Oct 29: As rail reservation through internet has increased so is the fake bookings. To control such happenings, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has called for changes in rail reservation system.
Fake tickets through Internet and travel agencies has resulted in a large number of people not getting reserved tickets. The party urged the Railway Ministry to limit the number of seats for online booking to 144, with two compartments.
