Govt appoints Special Officer for Tirupur

Chennai, Oct 29 (UNI) Director of Integrated Child Development Services Schemes C Samayamoorthy was today appointed the Special Officer for the formation of Tirupur district.

This followed Tamil Nadu Government's announcement to form a new district with Tirupur as its headquarters.

An official release here said Additional Commissioner of Sugar G Ramamoorthy was transferred and posted in place of Mr Samayamoorthy.
