Dalit martyr's family murder case: 5 nabbed

Ferozabad, Oct 29 (UNI) Police here today solved the dalit Kargil martyr's family murder case with the arrest of five assasins and seizure of large number of illegal weapons from them.

Inspector General of Police (Agra Zone) G P Sharma said the Special Operation Group (SOG) of the state police along with the local sleuths nabbed the five criminals along with the booty and a jeep from Ramgar area this evening.

Besides, a cellphone and other valuables were seized, he added.

The police team also recovered the weapon used in the mass killing, besides some more illegal weapons from the accused. The arrested, including kingpin of the gang Hari Om, were earlier tenants of the mentioned martyr Rajpal Singh.

Yesterday, armed miscreants had murdered the Kargil martyr's widow along with their three minor children in Ramgar area.

The incident had happened in Nagla Mirza village, where the armed assailants had attacked upon the Singh family and fled with the valuables.

The assasins had slit open the throat of the martyr's wife Nirdosh Kumari (40), while throttled his daughter Poonam (16) and sons Ashish (14) and Anshul (10). His yongest son Ujjwal had, however, escaped the attack.

Rajpal was a BSF jawan, who had died during the Kargil war.
