CM direct administrations to cooperate for Kalyanamasthu

Hyderabad, Oct 29 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today directed the district administrations to cooperate with the proposed Tirumala Tirupathi Devastanam (TTD) fourth phase of Kalyanamastu (Mass marriages) programme on November 2 in the state.

He said the TTD had taken up the programme with a view to helping the poor people and the TTD would bear all the marriaqe expenses by providing clothes, Mangalsutras and free meals to the relatives of the couple.

He said 20,000 people will benefit by the mass marriages.

The mass marraiges would be organised in all the mandal headquarters and also at the famous temples in the state.

He asked the MPs MLAs and MLCs to actively participate for the successful conduct of the programme.
