Affidavits to be submitted with nomination papers
Bhopal, Oct 29 (UNI) Candidates desiring to contest Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections will have to submit two affidavits along with their nomination papers.
Nomination papers, without the two affidavits, one declaring their assets and other mentioning previous criminal record if any, would be rejected.
According to official information, candidates must file their nomination paper keeping the Supreme Court directives in mind.
Pending cases wherein sentence awarded is two years or more and where charges had been framed should be mentioned in Form 26 along with cases where charges had been proved wherein sentence is more than one year.
Besides, all pending cases, including wherein charges had not been framed should be mentioned in the affidavit.
