Pak troops fire mortar shells last night
Jammu, Oct 28 (UNI) In yet another violation of ceasefire, Pakistani troops allegedly fired mortar shells and small arms ammunition on Indian posts along Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch last night, sources today said.
''Mortar shells and other small ammunition was fired at Indian posts on the LoC around 12 in the night at Sabzian in Poonch district,'' an army officer told UNI.
Intermittent firing of shells continued nearly for half-an-hour, the officer said, adding that there was no causality on the Indian side.
The security forces, however, kept calm and didn't retaliate to the ceasefire violation, he added.
