Dalit martyr's wife, 3 children murdered in UP

Ferozabad, Oct 28 (UNI) A dalit Kargil martyr's widow was murdered along with her three minor children in Ramghat area of the district here.

Prima-facie, property feud is emerging as the reason behind the killings which took place late last night, police said.

The incident happened in Nagla Mirza village, where the armed assailants attacked upon Rajpal Singh's family.

The assassins slit open the throat of his wife Nirdosh Kumari (40), while throttled his daughter Poonam (16) and sons Ashish (14) and Anshul (10). His yongest son Ujjwal, however, escaped the attack, police added.

The family was found dead in the house by milk-man this morning.

Rajpal, a BSF jawan had died during the Kargil war.

Meanwhile, senior police officials have reached the spot and started investigation.
