'Read My Mind' wins Gayatri Devi Memorial Gold Cup

Mysore, Oct 27 (UNI) Less fancied 'Read My Mind' (Appu astride) on the Gayatri Deve Memorial Gold Cup, the main event of concluding day's Mysore Summer Meeting races held hre today.

The winner is owned by Harinder Singh and trained by M Eshwer.

Trainer Vishal Yadav scored double. Only two favourites obliged in a long card of ten events.

Dr M A M Ramaswamy won the leading owner trophy having won the highest stakes of Rs 1,23,06,108, while trainer R Foley declared champion trainer for the Maximum number of 42 winners saddled.

Jockey B Prakash won champion jockey trophy by ridden 30 winners.

Prajavani Kannada daily won the leading tipster trophy with 60 winners.

Secret song has been declared horse of the season for the most consistent performance.
