Pak infiltrator killed, one arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 27 (UNI) Troops killed an infiltrator near the Line Of Control (LoC) while one militant was arrested along with arms and ammunition in central Kashmir, official sources said.

They said an encounter took place near LOC at Kater Doori in Keran Sector between a group of infiltrators and security forces early this morning.

Later a body of an unidentified militant was recoverd in the area.

A militant was arrested alongwith a pistol in the central Kashmir district of Badgam, the sources said.

They said a search operation was launched by security forces at village Kralpatheri Badgam today following a tip off about the presence of militants there.

During the operation, a militant was arrested and one pistol, one magzine and nine rounds of ammunition, were recovered from him.
