Notorious criminal arrested in Gaya

Gaya, Oct 27 (UNI) A notorious criminal wanted in conncetion with more than a dozen cases of murder, kidnapping and extortion, was arrested at Sheikhpura village under Belaganj police station in the district today.

Police said acting on a tip-off the notorious criminal Pappu was arrested from a hideout at Sheikhpura village. He was wanted in connection with several cases including a massacre which tool place at Miyanpur village in Aurangabad district a few years back, police added.

''Pappu was being interrogated in connection with involvement in several criminal cases lodged at various police stations in Auragabad and Gaya district,'' police added.
